Did you know that your posture can have a lot to do with how you feel? A commonly observed posture problem of a rounded mid back, forward rounded shoulders, and the head carried forward of the body, (turkey neck posture), can cause a range of aches and pains. As chiropractors we often see this posture, to varying degrees. This type of postural imbalance can cause recurring neck pains and upper back pains. It can even lead to  lower back pains and shoulder pains. And if allowed to continue this poor posture can eventually cause shoulder tendinitis, bursitis and in severe cases, frozen shoulder.

So, here is how to find out about your posture and what can be done. We all have different postures when sitting, standing or sleeping. These postures can affect our health, our self esteem and our comfort levels. Here at Blomerth Chiropractic, we have taught people how to improve their posture for over 35 years now. The good news? Most posture problems can be reduced by a combination of chiropractic adjustments, and stretching and strengthening exercises that can be done in as little as a few minutes per day. Sometimes, supports like orthotics to correct imbalances from the foundation of the feet on up can help. We evaluate your posture in order to help you reach your health goals. Since May is good posture month we are making you an offer you shouldn’t refuse.

For the month of May 2017, if you or someone you know would like to find out if their posture may be causing them a problem, we have set aside some times for complimentary posture checks. After this 15 minute, pain free procedure, we will tell you how your posture is affecting your health. And we tell you what can be done about it. This screening is open to the general public and is appropriate for people ages 6 to 90. However, you must call us at 978-535-6155 to reserve one of the available times.
