A commonly observed posture problem of a rounded mid back, forward rounded shoulders, and the head carried forward of the body, (turkey neck posture), can cause a range of aches and pains. As chiropractors we often see this posture, to varying degrees. This type of postural imbalance can cause recurring neck pains and upper back pains. It can even lead to lower back pains and shoulder pains. And if allowed to continue this poor posture can eventually cause shoulder tendinitis, bursitis and in severe cases, frozen shoulder.
So, here is how to find out about your posture and what can be done. We all have different postures when sitting, standing or sleeping.
